You book in time, because you want to be sure you can travel to your desired destination at your chosen time. But then it is good to have a cancellation insurance, just in case. Something may happen which causes you to cancel or postpone you travel. Your travelling agency can bill you for the costs. Some times up to 100% of your travelling costs.

An insurance will insure that you are properly covered against unexpected cancellation charges. DAMAGE INSURANCE
To make your stay as carefree as possible a so-called general damage insurance is mandatory with every booking. This insurance covers all possible damage -for example to furniture or interior- to your holiday address up to EUR 2,500,-. The fee amounts to approx. 1% of your travel sum, with 7% insurance taxes added and is already included in the travel sum.
